Am 30.04.2020 haben die UN Women 7 komplette Handwaschstationen an commit and act gespendet.
Jeder Tank enthält 200 Liter Wasser. Die Spende geht auf den gemeinsamen Kampf beider Institutionen gegen das Covid19 Virus zurück.
Am 06.05.2020 wurden diese Stationen offiziell eingeweiht. Es war viel lokale Prominenz zugegen. Hier der original Kommentar von Hannah und ein paar Bilder:
With support from UNWOMEN. Commit and Act Foundation installed a hand washing station in Bumbuna, Dansogoia chiefdom. at the main Magburaka road check point. The ceremony was climax by the Paramount Chief, PC Alimamy Bockarie Yalla Koroma and wife, Madam Juliet Koroma ; head of ONS, Mr. Balla Kargbo, Head of OSD , The Councilor, Madam Margaret Benteh Kamara; Youth Leader , Ishmael Kellie Kargbo and Civil Security Volunteers (CSVs) and other representatives.
All stakeholders were very grateful and expressed their thanks and appreciation to UNWOMEN and Commit and Act Foundation for this unique, appropriate and timely Hand Washing Station , which will support the fight against COID-19.
